Default another power adder question.

I was just reading thru a hot rod mag and read one of the readers letters........

it said musi will not race in the PRO series because of the obvious bending of the rules toward the turbo cars,

what he is talking about is twin turbo's being counted as one power adder...........he doesn't agree and call it having 2 adders...

now the part that got me thinking was, the intercoolers....

he is calling the intercoolers power adders too. saying that the turbo guys are getting away with running 4 power adders to his one.(the guy that wrote the letter had a 14-71 high helix blower) fuel in, fuel out, as he said it...

the twin turbo thing I think is up in the air because I've heard alot about one being better anyways...........

my thing is the intercoolers, seems to me that a air to air intercooler isn't but that's not what the big cars run.

they pack these big coolers, mounted inside the car with dry ice just before every pass. that seems to be like adding power from a 2nd source to me. and its not even just ice water, that doesn't do well enough. they always use dry ice.

now with the turbo cars running drag racing right now, what would happen if they had to remove the intercoolers or at least only have big air to air ones. killing aero on the big end. would they still own all?
