that sounds about right to me. just keep in mind the motor is being pushed to its limits and there is always the possibility that something can give out at any moment. also those 390cc injectors u have will be done at about 280-300whp
rebuilding the motor with stronger interenals would not give you more power but will give u the ability to turn up the boost higher which will obviously result in more power and torque. there will always be ther guys that like the LS heads better but with a stock vtec head on there youll gain at least 10-15% more horsepower at the same boost level. just something to think about
