Wow, they make aluminum sprockets for street bikes! Figured the torque would eat those puppies up. If you ride a smaller displacement bike I would go with aluminum if you have money to burn and don't mind replacing them with your oil changes.

I know from racing dirt bikes aluminum sprockets are teh gay. My Renthal sprockets only lasted about 1/3 the life of a steel sprocket but you could feel the difference with them being a lot lighter and what not.
