Build the car around the motor, not the motor into the car. Chassis bracing/stiffening, driveshaft loop, reinforce & weld up torque boxes, and/or mildly cage it to keep from pretzeling up the body. Complete aftermarket suspension overhaul to keep the power planted to the ground. Having all that power will do you no good if you can't hook and keep the car straight. Do it right the first time or else you'll be breaking and fixing other things unnecessarily.

Hell my suspension, bracing, etc. has been overkill for my car for years but now it is coming in handy and will be getting a real hard workout in a few more months.
I have always been a fan of this approach because having tons of power mean jack shit unless you can out it to the ground. Well of course unless you are a roll racer only.
