Also the pin holding the shift linkage to tranny is a mother sometimes...you have to show it who is boss an old valve works well for driving it out along with a decent hammer. Also when prying out axles keep the tranny in neutral and spin the axle while you pry. BTW I dont think it has been mentioned but dont drop the tranny on your head.
