I highly doubt im gonna push the envelope of boost to make it knock on 92 octane. I have the timing retarded ~16 degrees to be on the safe side until I get to the dyno. I mentioned the datalogger because that's what I read somewhere, although it was for tuning dsm's, but figured the same priciples applied. I do believe they have a datalogger for Nissan, like Hondata I think they ahve one called Nisdata. Who do you guys recommend me taking the car for tuning? Any compitent shop with a dyno, or should they specialize in Nissan like XAT? Maybe I should buy an egt guage and learn my self trying not to blow things up. The manifold I have has the egt port on the 4th cylinder runner. Can you get an accurate egt reading off of one cylinder like that or does it need to be reading after all runners have combined? If i do buy an egt gauge, anyone want to make some money teaching me and helping me set my car up? I'd rather buy the gauge so when I want to turn up the boost I can re-tune my car w/o relying on taking it to the dyno, and I'd rather know that much more about my car.
