You are absolutely wrong. Bisi NEVER said that it takes more money to make the SOHC fast. Bisi is on a MUCH MUCH tighter budget than his DOHC competitors. There are less parts in a SOHC engine, therefore less costs. I guarantee you, if you do a search on Honda-Tech for his posts, you will find that he says this. The reason Bisi is ahead of the game is his RESEARCH and because of his research, he chose the SOHC non-VTEC platform. He also doesn't have the expensive engine management the DOHC boys have, he's still using old school carbs and old school tuning techniques, MUCH cheaper.
