They have all of the money in the world and all of the people to find ways to make more power out of what they are given. I still thing that DOHC is going to be better. In any form of racing.
First of all, DOHC Formula 1 cars barely make an 1/8th of the amount of power that pushrod top fuel cars do.
Also, Formula 1 cars are allowed to use 5 valves per cylinder, that would prevent them from using a single camshaft. Your B Series swap will NEVER have 5 valves per cylinder.
