I think the drop for the AGX's can be up to 2 inches. Mine is at 1.9 right now and my AGX's are wonderful. I've had them for almost a year. Not sure how long they're supposed to last. I do know that if you take care of them and your car isn't too low that the shocks are compressed more than they should be, they will last. Plus, if your car is not too low, AGX's have lifetime warranty.
