Just tell the buyer to get a cashiers check from a bank. They are just as easy to get and they're as good as cash.
99% true yes, but there have been cases of fakes out there so I'd call the bank that the cashier's check was drawn from and confirm with a teller there that the check is legit before you let the car go.
