Dry kit on an LS1 is just sprayed before the MAF sensor. The MAF picks up the extra material and adds fuel via the injectors/computer without a bump in pressure.

On LT1s and most Ford kits I thought there was a nitrous line in between the solenoids that goes to the FPR and applies pressure to it when the noids open...bumping fuel pressure up about 20 or so PSI to add extra fuel.
