You also need to know what you are doing with these kits because you can melt engine parts down quickly with a direct port system. These kits too can have multi-stages and can go up to 600+ h.p. ! YIKES !
And there you have it your nitorous 101 class is now complete. Hope that helps.
Actually all that we said was correct the wet kit you are talking about is a plate kit only works for the V8 guys.(unless you have a GSR). We were talking about a wet single fogger kit. And as far as the dry kit every dry kit I know bumps up fuel pressure for you. Maybe you are the one with the off brand kits.
And what you said about the direct port is completely wrong. The direct port is really the most effective kit of all also the safest. With it being a nozzle for every runner there is no question as far as even distribution a common problem associated with dry and single fogger wet kits. And also what I said about the single fogger it is mixed in the nozzle before it is sprayed into your engine.
READ READ READ ! What did I say about the direct port kits ? These kits are the most effecient but expensive. You also need to know what you are doing with these kits because you can melt engine parts down quickly with a direct port system.
Ummm so like I said these were the most effecient so where am I completely wrong ? Sounds like you repeated me eh ? Maybe you are referring to me saying You also need to know what you are doing with these kits because you can melt engine parts down quickly with a direct port system. They are not the safest if you are off on the tune up ! You can melt down parts very quickly with a direct port system because they ARE so effecient. And I am not talking about some 150-200 direct port import kit I am talking about 250-500 multi-stage kits. Look outside the box will ya.
An as far as me having a off brand kit dont think so. NOS has been making systems longer than most of the import brands put together. That is if your import kit was not made by NOS to start with and renamed by the distributor. Every kit I have helped install or that I had was by NOS and not one of the applications had a bump for the fuel pressure. That does not mean it doesnt exist but I have never used one that way.
You said The wet kits actaully use a separate line for fuel and mixes n2o and fuel before it is introduced to your engine. This sounded like you were saying they were mixed together at some point before the nozzle. You did not mention the nozzles in your previous post. So you are correct on this one.
I could sit here and pick apart all of the previous posts one at a time that you say are correct but no thanks. Plus I am not here to piss people off or belittle them. I just wanted to straighten some things out that were not correct. Some of the previous posts have some correct info..
