When all the other manufacturers where making minute variations to their existing line the Viper was an entirely new car that laughed in the face of political correctness and auto industry status quo. 488 cubic inches of pissed off American horsepower. No creature comforts, no radio, no A/C, no windows, no door handles, no ABS or driver assistance of any kind, just a bigass motor, fatass wheels and a kickass suspension, and you better learn how to drive it.

Too hard to drive? Go get a Z06, any moron can drive those fast.
Don’t like the fit and finish? Get a BMW Vipers don’t give a shit about that.
