The EG's have more head-to-frame clearance than DA's. And CRX's have alot less head-to-frame clearance than me. Show me a few pics of crx's with a/c 
I know its possible but not probable.
good point. Even if you could fit it the amout of heat you would have while running A/c would cause overheating. I ran into this with my EG and i was running a fluidyne.
