Umm, mine looks like the latter of the two, smooth straight bore all the way through with the dangly sensor, but it's stock. Changed in '97 - '98 ?? I'll get a pic of it.

Oh, the three inches is outer diameter I believe but the wall thickness is very small so ID is like 2.8" or so.??
