I see a TT has a safety precaution, many car companies who use the "new" design turbo bearings install a secondary oil pump that will pump oil after a car has been shut off till it reaches a certain temp, Audi is well known for this, putting them in the S4 and the 225 TT. Other european car companies do this too (I believe SAAB but not 100%). I see it as a waste on a stock car, but on one where the boost or turbo has been modified I see it as a good step, like upgrading to a 180deg thermostat, it physically does nothing for the car, until it fails, then it just fails in the open position as opposed to the closed position, trust me $90 is alot cheaper than $500+. if you cant justify it to yourself, thats fine, but I can, and did.
