I'd say the suspension(cheap stuff) gets about the same or maybe a little more of a workout autox'ing compared to drifting.

However, the driveline(expensive stuff) on your car gets abused WAY more during drifting compared to autoX or drag.
I still disagree with you. You wouldn't know the effects of drifting on a car unless you drifted, and you don't.

In drag, in order to do well you have to have a huge amount of traction on the rear tires which will overcome many clutches after just a few passes. In drifting, however, you're breaking loose the traction so the clutch doesn't have to work hard at all and will last very long. Sometimes in drag, with Nissans, they're prone to breaking output shafts and also shift forks, etc. Drifting, usually when you break something it's because you hit something or your car wasn't ready to take on a motorsport (something was weak or failing already).

I still don't understand how auto-x is any nicer on the car than drifting... explain it to me because I've done all 3 and the only thing that has EVER hurt my car is drag racing.
