I also disagree with RiceRocket, all forms of motorsport are equal parts car and driver. If you don't believe it, take a high HP, FWD car and try to launch it effectively at the track. Alot more than 25% going on there. The same can be said for any form of motorsport, a good driver can make a bad car look better, but a bad car is still a bad car and a great driver is still a great driver.
No I am doing nothing wrong, you just dont think much. My car powerslides better than it drifts so therefore I am like 90 percent powerslide and 10 percent drift until I get a new clutch pack. I dont burn alot of tires cause I have 3.73's and use 2nd gear mid to high rpm to get a swing out to happen and therefore I run out of rpm before I get a chance to smoke the shit out of my tires. Most drifters are using small tires, shitty at that and spin pretty easy and most have a turbo and can spin tires like nothing at all. I cant do that as much.
When line locking at the track,I damn sure spin more rubber off in a night full of burnouts then I do or did all day at drift day.
