really though David, the guy who taught me how to build the sohc, and i were overall happy as we hit our hoped for numbers.
now i know my 148 whp @ 125 ft/lb torque to you mustang/domestic guys isn't much. but it made me really happy to see my first engine build on a mini me put out decent numbers for stage 1 of the build.

Those were some nice numbers.
Something directed to Sam: whats wrong with my torque figure? It measured 102.9, yet my motor is rated at 105 from the factory. Somehow I doubt Toyota would underrate an economy car.
What gives?
