well i topped alan which means i took 2nd place for slowest car pulled

really though David, the guy who taught me how to build the sohc, and i were overall happy as we hit our hoped for numbers.

now i know my 148 whp @ 125 ft/lb torque to you mustang/domestic guys isn't much. but it made me really happy to see my first engine build on a mini me put out decent numbers for stage 1 of the build.

thanx! angela

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

Those were some nice numbers.

Something directed to Sam: whats wrong with my torque figure? It measured 102.9, yet my motor is rated at 105 from the factory. Somehow I doubt Toyota would underrate an economy car. What gives?
