My opinion, if you can get either for the best price, it won't matter . If you go with a B16B, go with a shorter FD, i.e. 4.7 or 4.9. FD help

I help put a '92 EG that ran 13.7s in a B16B with a ATS 4.9 FD and a good selection of parts, funny thing, its not tune yet.

You think F1 cars have big motors...........gearing will make up for the torque.
