Not really.. A b16b swap costs $3300.
A spoon stroker kit costs $1200
Add $500 for misc new seals & machine work & walah you have a brand new b16b stroked to 1.8L
$5k total cost....

I dont know about you but I would rather own a stroked & refreshed b16b over a b18c5 that is more then likely in need of a rebuild regardless of what motor distributor you purchase it from....

b18c5 complete change over 98+ spec is about $4500-5k
