Both motors are built by honda so you can't go wrong either way.
I can't speak much for the b18 but I have a b16 in an 88 crx and I love it, it'll run low 14's ( better than and stock gt) and do 0-60 in about 5 seconds, and I didn't pay 3k plus for the engine either. the stock hp and tq differences can be overcome by tuning and a few bolt ons, but you'd be best to boost it ( whatever you get ).
as a daily driver keep in mind fuel economy ( don't laugh ) cause at almost $2 per gallon for the 93 oct. economy should be on your pro's and con's list for each motor. I don't know about the b18's economy but my jdm b16 with a few bolt ons, driving pedal to the floor from stop light to stop light, compression braking, basically everything you not supposed to do to save fuel, and I get 28 mpg in city. what does a b18 do? ( seriously, no sarcasm)
what do you want though, all motor then I would say the b18 you start bigger and have more room to bore it bigger, if your boosting then either but the for the price of the b18 you could get the b16 and get more than half of the stuff needed to boost it.
like I said before though either engine is great, especially since its not a domestic.
