You are a Mustang guy at heart. And like most, you suffer the love/hate relationship. (When it's new it's not fast enough and must be modded, but when it's modded to your liking, it's just not suitable as a daily driver.) Right now, you're somewhere in between because the car is streetable but still old and tempermental.

If you ditch the SVO, you'll never be happy with just the Xb. If I were in your position, I'd take the Xb back to the dealer (you have like 3 days I think?) and pick up something a less expensive but still reliable as a daily driver. Then you should be able to afford to keep the SVO and mod it while you still have reliable transportation to/from work. It's the only way you'll ever satisfy both sides of the addiction.
