IT WAS A RECOVERED THEFT BACK IN 1995 AND HAS SAT NEXT TO MY SHOP SINCE BEFORE I WAS EVEN HERE - I HAVE THE RELEASE FROM THE INSURANCE COMPANY BUT NEVER WENT TO GET THE TITLE
The vehicle will have a SALVAGE title from the State of NY. Depending on how it's coded, it may not be rebuildable in Florida. Either way, you would need to get the release, goto the NY DMV and apply for a title (branded title), and then you might be able to transfer the title here.
Tricky. You would need all your ducks in a row to pull this one off. One mistake, and you could be in legal limbo for months...
