What is involved in obtaining a title? Fishy story...

Saw this, and thought it might make a great daily driver. Just don't know what you have to do, to get a new title. How much does it cost, etc. ?

Something is fishy with his story about " Oh, I just never went to get a title." If he got the title he could get really good $$$ for that car.

What'cha guys think?

if its a lost title, id tell him to go get a new one and id give him the money...but i wouldnt buy that car in hopes he is telling the truth. you HAVE to have a title..

The vehicle will have a SALVAGE title from the State of NY. Depending on how it's coded, it may not be rebuildable in Florida. Either way, you would need to get the release, goto the NY DMV and apply for a title (branded title), and then you might be able to transfer the title here.

Tricky. You would need all your ducks in a row to pull this one off. One mistake, and you could be in legal limbo for months...
