well for all it is worth, this motor had been through a few different configurations. A6 block with SRP pistons and eagle rods, Y8 head (compression computed to 10.3-1). originally was supercharged (JRSC) with 25 shot of NOS. That setup dynoed @200hp 171TRQ. (important to remember that this is sohc...redlined at 7200). later converted to turbo (small GReddy) and dynoed at 181HP with 11psi(along with ignition miss). after fixing ignition situation, i upped boost to 13-14 psi. this was daily driven. engine put together by me over 14-15 months ago and has tolerated quite alot from me. the failure of this engine was sudden and unexpected with no advance warning, no overheating, no miss, nothing. luckily i have other transport available so not in a really big hurry to rush to next setup.
