Do you even know the amount of people that live down here compared to Tampa??? This shit has just started boys, keep your events where you want to keep them, but don't say shit like, "Lets have the events in Tampa, blah blah blah..." Did you see the amount of people that stopped in the middle of the road and pulled over outside the fence??? I'm surprised the local news wasn't called out there...Maybe if we had some cars with flashy paint and nice rims, we would get some more press and, in turn, more participants...Everyone who came to watch was talking about buying an S13 or Corolla or taking their Uncle's Cressida or Supra out for the next event...I'm sure that these events will grow...You guys just planted the seed in Miami, give it some water and sunshine, and it will grow...Don't just plant it and walk away...You'll never know what fruit it can bear...
Dude... I will drive down to Miami every weekend if I have to! All I'm saying is that they need events in or near Tampa as well. Not JUST Miami. Why? Miami wouldn't have had an event if it wasn't for people driving from Tampa and Orlando. I would say half or more of the drivers were from Tampa/Orlando areas, not Miami. In tampa we had 350+ spectators and in Miami they only had 100 and a few (the few were people from Tampa/Orlando). Right now drifting isn't as well known down there as in Tampa. Most of the car scene (and I know this from talking to Miami residents) is interested in drag racing, etc. Not drifting. It's just logical to have some events near or in Tampa.
