Nah, TB will be good for quite a while, 75 lb injectors will last even longer, and I have no mass air

As far as tune the DFI style setup will give me a ton of flexibility with just a press of a button or turn of a knob... hahaha - i said knob
But yes, it is more expensive to get it started than a carb setup.
