The b17a and b16a blocks are identicle castings. If not how else would the complete rotating assembly from a b17a fit and deck perfectly in a b16a block?
Stroker kits:
I was somewhat wrong about the toda kit it uses a 87.2mm crank and a 134mm rod and a short piston meaning the wrist pin was moved up(by my calculations about 3.3mm). It also has a r/s ratio of 1.54. Crower also uses short pistons on their stroker kits to run longer rods and maintain decent rod ratios. Their site mentions it. These are all custom forged pistons not modified stock.
Does anyone have any comments about the destroked b20a5 idea?
