I know probably 90% of you are web gurus or work in an Internet related field, so I feel this question would best be posed here.

Basically I am looking for some suggestions regarding online advertising. We are looking for a cost effective means for building our national online market research database. So far the obvious sites like MSN or Yahoo come to mind. What others should I look into? In your past endeavors, which sites produced the best ROI?

We are a fairly small business with a fairly limited budget, but just like the "big dogs" we are looking to get the most for our money without breaking the bank. Eventually I will head up the "Internet Survey Department" (haha, me being the only computer literate person able to program/launch/administer the surveys), so I really want to get this database going ASAP to pull in more revenue.
