Exactly why I like F1. I assume in NASCAR it comes down to driver since everything else is mostly equal and limited with restrictions. If you want to see who's better at doing circles for hours then more power to you. I personally like to see who can put together a better all around team.
Since F1 is a combination of everything including engine/chasis manufacturers, teams, and drivers it's more interesting to me. If one manufacturer makes a stronger engine than the others, then they deserve that advantage.
This type of competition forces the advancement of technology etc... If you think that's such a bad thing then stick to NASCAR. Just because F1 cars are faster and handle better does not mean they are easier to drive. LOL
