I'm sure any fast car could be fun to watch in person. For the most part though NASCAR is limited to people who like Ford & Chevy which just so happens to include the rednecks. LOL For many of us there just isn't enough variety, not to mention a lot of people find the whole circle track thing redundant and boring regardless of whether they're going 200mph or not.
I personally like watching F1 racing. It has a much better variety of manufactures like Mercedes, BMW, Ford, Toyota, Honda, Ferrari etc... and more complex tracks from all around the world making it more interesting for a lot of people watching.
How come nobody on this site like racing for the racing not the type of car they drive or which way they turn? I love all forms of auto racing but being that I like to watch the racing action and not just fast cars driving around a track I prefer to watch series like Nascar and I.R.O.C. over F1 which may have more manufactures but there is alot less action in the races and IMO it is not as hard to drive a F1 car as it is a stock car since the F1 cars basicly drive themselves compared to the less technical stock cars. Not to mention that even if they may have more manufatures racing only a few are competitive enough to win.
