Difinately one of the sports you have to see in person, before you can say its boring or you only watch them go in a circle.

I've been to first Pepsi 400 night race as well (awsome at night!!), the Daytona 500 when Earnhardt passed on, and Coca Cola 600, and the Winston. Superspeedways are great, but I would like to go to a short track to see what its like too.

Advice to anyone who goes to a race........bring a small walkman and headphones. Tune into the track station and you can hear all the announcing going on, like on T.V. It helps especially at a Superspeedway, you can hear whats going on this way and know where to look on the track. Otherwise your in the dark as to who is pitting and what the drivers are saying, whos in what position etc. A lot of times you can't see the other side of the track to know whats going on.
