I have said this before and I will say it again:

In drifting do you try to under-drift the other guy and make it out of the corner first in order to pass him and get down the straitaway faster? In drifting are you trying to "drift" the car through the turns trying to take a couple of tenths off your lap time? In drifting are you hanging out the rearend and drifting across the finish line faster than the other guy? Since the answer to those questions is no then "Drifting"=Lame. Drag racing is motorsports competition, Stock car racing is motorsports competition, rally racing is motorsports competition, road racing is motorsports competition, Autocrossing is motorsports competiton. Drifting is some slapdicks in a parking lot doing donuts.
