True the torque would be hard to match, but the turbos coming out for the Spec claim 240whp. And with the price of the turbo on top of the Spec V the two come out about equal. I havent heard any torque numbers yet, but i would guess around 200 lb-ft. The SRT-4 may have the edge still, but it would be a damn good race.
And then the srt-4 owner would go out and spend a few grand and drop a few seconds off his e.t. with the ease only a factory turbo car could provide. I'd go for the Neon- it's going to be cheaper and easier than building up a nonturbo sentra and it starts out faster, too.
