99.5 Jetta IV VR6 Part Out
This is the start of my 99.5 Jetta VR6 being parted out. Pretty much everything is going and there are quite a few aftermarket and performance parts for sale. Some parts are in great, near new shape; some are a bit older or were bought when I first got the car so the pics should give an idea of the shape they’re in. If there are any questions, feel free to ask. Most items, the buyer will pay shipping. For multiple items to one buyer, I may pay for the shipping. Larger items may take a bit longer to get packaging for so be patient. I will always stay in contact til the part is received. Im open to offers as well. 1) 3.1L 12v VR6 - $2750
Engine has 12k miles on it.
Block is 85mm bore using Ross custom pistons with Teflon skirt coating
11.2:1 compression
ARP main and head studs
SCE custom copper head gasket for 85mm bore
Rods were resized using ARP bolts and sides of rods polished down
Bearings are OEM Glyco bearings
Crank was micro polished
Entire rotating assem was balanced to near zero internally
Head has GSB 42mm intakes and Schrick 36.2mm ex valves
P&P was done with guides being ground flush with port
Cams are Eurospec Sport 268 w/Matrix springs
All timing components were new upon rebuild
Water pump, therm housing, 160 degree therm, aluminum crack pipe -12k
2) O2J 5 speed with Peloquin diff.- $1000 - SOLD!
Tranny and gears have 89k on them.
Never had the syncro grind problem
Peloquin has 12k on it.
