Default NTB: cam position sensor

This is not a want to buy its a NEED TO BUY a MKIV gti 1.8t engine code AWP cam position sensor mine seems to have gona bad

thats odd they usually dont go bad to often whats wrong with the car

its throwing the code for the cam position sensor i took it off cleaned it and put it back on yesterday cleared the code then last night it came on again

did you have a timing belt done just recently, cause if the belt is off 1 tooth it will set a code for the cam sensor so check that out first

just had it done two days ago you think any damge could have been caused due to it being off?? seems to run fine.........

ill put 100 bucks on it that the belt is off a 1 or 2 teeth, it wont do any damage, so ur good just need to line the belt back up properly, and the light will go out,
