Exclamation official WTB thread...

im doing this for my cousin... he has a 93 passat glx vr6 motor in his jetta it is distributor not coil pack...the parts can come from 93-95 passat glx, or golf gti...

*needs asap...
1. 2.9L pistons
2. timing set

and he is looking into...
1. ford or chevy injectors, 440cc or 30 to 44lbs
2. HID's (audi)
3. ecu chip (turbo)
4. and cams

if you have or know anything lmk pm me please!!!!

He would have to get aftermarket pistons in order to have a 2.9 liter.
As for timing pieces, he should have a single row upper chain. My suggestion would be to buy new since the tensioners are known to wear and everything can be had for under 200 bucks.

And for the record the GTI never had a distributor set-up. Only the Corrado and Passat (1994 and older)

and like i said this is for my cousin, i dont really know anything about vw's..

and everything will go through him before its said and done...
