Default need parts asap!!!!

i need a camshaft cap #7 for a mk3 vr6.. i need it in good condition, no grooves or anything like that.. or if anyone knows where i could get one from.. lmk thnx

Just a heads up, but you cant just replace the cap and call it a day. That head is going to need to be align bored.

yeah thats wut i've been hearing.. so im not really worried about it anymore.. but im just curious, wut happens if you just replace it and call i a day without doin anything to it??

9 times out of 10, the cam will lock up due to a lack of alignment. You may get lucky and find one that fits but I wouldnt just buy some and try it. What are you going to do with the head?

i am going to just leave it on the car for right now.. my cap has a small crack in it but im just going to rig it up and if it fucks up then ill just look into putin the 24v head on

I hate to tell you this, but if you want a 24v head, you have to put the 24v block in there too. The 24v head will not bolt up to the 12v block. The head bolts are offset about 1/2 an inch.

And none of the coolant passages line up.
