If anything goes wrong with the car, I would file a lawsuit and use his post as evidence that he knowingly lied to you and basically commited fraud, print it before he deletes it.

Well i know my car is fucking up pretty bad right now... It goes into EPC mode every single time i start the car cold, and the ABS light comes on and off every once in a while. Dunno what to do about it though..

 

That's pretty shitty if this guy sold you a car that had known issues and he didn't tell you about them.

Have someone scan the car with a vag com. I was getting an EPC light on the jetta. Les scanned the car and it turns out my brake switch was bad. It was fixed = no more EPC light.
I would email this other guy and see if you can get a hold of the mechanic and find out what "might" go wrong with the car.

 

Yeah, most common problem for the EPC light is the brake light switch, only costs like 10 bucks and you can replace it your self. As for the ABS light, check your pads, not sure if you cars has wear sensors. Another thing could be if one of the calipers isn't releasing all the way, your car may think that you are "skidding" sometimes, so it would try to trip the ABS.
