It's got a long list of mods, turn key, needs nothing except an ac charge (I never bothered since I can drive somethin else if I want ac). To do a shortbox, it's pretty easy. It's not any different than when minitrucks do c-notches except here you would be removing 18" of frame. As long as you scab the rails properly, it'll be safe. The wire harness would just have to be coiled and zip tied. And the brake lines would be a direct swap to a 1500 line. Lots of guys have done it for drag racing.

You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. The diesel option adds $4300 alone on top of any truck. Check your shit first.

Also, the 97 is the highest output 12valve besides the 97-98 manuals which are 215hp pumps. Then, some people know what they have and some don't; I do. Just cuz you can steal another truck doesn't mean you're gonna steal mine
