I bought a toyota pick up for a project.
it is a 89 with a clean title.

But, it needs alot of work.

I just want to trade for something that isnt a project or not as much as a project as this is.

I will take these trucks or cars for trade-

240sx
older 4 runner
jeep wrangler yj
jeep cherokee
suzuki samurai

The truck does not run !
it fires, cranks etc but never turns all the way on and the issue is unkown.

* has a lower milage 3.0 toyota 4runner motor
* new starter
* new clutch from exedy
*new alt.
*new belts
* new master cylinder
* new flywheel
*5 speed tranny
* roll bar
* rusted sidesteps
* 4runner bucket seats
* 3" body lift
* 33" tires of offroad wheels but they are bald.


needs alot of bondo work finished.

Dont really want to sell because I wont get enough to get something running.

All it needs is body work and to be running. brakes etc. are all good.

All interior lights, headlights etc cut on.

Yeah I couldnt do 2200 but if you do drop the price LMK I do wanna pick it up.

By lights cut on you mean they all work?? I'd like to get something I can drive to the trail/mud hole and drive home so I dont have to kill my daily truck.

Sorry man , I know the price is unfair but my dad got it for me when I totaled my mustang. He is the one with the title and wants his money back out. I will do a price breakdown.

I bought the shell with clean title for 1400,
then the v6 3.0 out of a 4runner for 375.00,
brand new clutch from exedy (stage 2or 3 or something) ,
brand new flywheel from toyota,
brand new starter ,
reese hitch and tow package ,
3" body lift,
off road wheels,
toyota 4 runner seats (50.00),
brand new master and slave (i think),
new alt,
new spark plugs ,
new belts,
ruscat paint for the interior,
..

I dont know how but he has reciepts for up to 2500.

so I could maybe go to 2,000 but really just want a trade.

If someone could buy the roll bar and sidesteps, and hitch for 100 I could drop price another 100.

so you dont have a clue why it dont run? i mean does it have fuel/spark. incorrect harness for the motor you installed, what. anything that doesnt run, and needs a new bed and cab corner isnt worth 2k maybe 1k at most. who knows what it will take to get the truck running

I dont care if its worth 1k. It isnt far from running. a bed is 100 form the junk yard.
get off my thread. it has almost 600 in new parts.

ummm ok....

A: if its not far from running, why cant you tell us whats making it not run?
B: give me the number to the yard selling those beds for $100, i need 3
C: take the 600 off the truck and roll that thing across the scale at the scrapper
