Default wtb truck auto for possible towing

I took a job in bradenton and need an auto truck my old lady can drive small distances so i can use her toyota. I would like one that could tow my mustang when i blow it up. I need something soon let me know if anybody needs out from under some payments or has a 250/2500 kinda cheap(will take smaller if it can handle a car trailer). I wont go over 10 k and dont want a super monster my old lady will run over crizap with. I would also like some ballparks of what a good tow vechickle should go for. would like it no newer than 2001 to keep price low. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

a 150/1500 would be just fine for towing a mustang.. and better on gas probly..a 92-97 f150 with the straight six would be decent gas mileage and more than enough to pull that mustang around but i just figured i would bump this for u and let u know u dont need a 250/2500
