Im looking to get my hands on a 2jz-gte and a R154 tranny. Would like to buy local if possable and have found a couple JDM distubiters but again would like to buy local. If anyone can point me in the right direction that would be awesome!

BTW this is going into a 1987 Crystler starion TSi and i will post pics of before and after once the swap gets started!

 

might wanna start in the toyota for sale section. which r154 do you want? there are 3 different shifter locations. also pretty sure all manual 2jzgte's came with the v160 6spd's so your gonna wanna look for r154's from 1j's or a turbo mk3 supra and swap the bellhousings.

The MKIV supras came with a w58 5 speed and a getrag 6 speed, so you will need to obtain a r154 off of a MKIII supra and purchase a 1jz bellhousing. Driftmotion has the 1jz bellhousings for sale, and you may be able to find one on some of the supra forums for a little bit cheaper, but most people know what they have when it comes to this stuff so it's not going to be cheap unless you are able to get a trans from a salvage yard.
