I didnt realize we were meeting at 5. Now that I went back over the pm's I see that it's definetly my fault. I was trying to round up the batteries and I was going to pm you back but I got tied up.

There is to much resistance aka gap between the electrodes that why it doesn't arch. I am going to get another set of batteries ,but it works on metal objects. The rods in the middle were bent which doesn't help it ,but whatever thanks for it though.
