Default need legal help

Well 3 weeks ago I bought a 89 toyota supra from a guy named brenden that's his tr name but any way last month I talked to him befor I left out of the country and I paid for part of the car and I wrote up a paper sayin if anything happend to the car while I was gone he would fix it and now wen I got back I payed him the rest I owed. And I signed his paper sayin I bought the car. That same day right after he left I drove the car then that's wen I heard the rod knock and the car was fine wen I left last month so I wanted to know wwwat I could do. Some people say civil suit or wat I need help asap and the repais will be 2500 any help wll be great thanks kirk

this is the wrong forum for this.

But I have a question, did you bother test driving the car before buying it? because a rod knock wont rear it's ugly head all of a sudden.....

did you happen to take the odometer reading before you left and after you got back? not to say something could not have happened in 1 mile or less but it is certainly leverage. most likely they are gonna treat it like an as-is sale, sorry about your luck.

The only thing you can do is if you have proof of before and after readings from the odo. Otherwise you can't do anything.

its gotta count for somethin but prolly wouldnt hold up too well unless it was notarized which meant the term "anything" had to be a little more specific.

That would not be Brenden/Brandon/Branden's first scam, search him up on Supraforums, he's a scamming thief piece of shit.
