It will definitely work as long as you plumb your oil control hoses properly.

 

Exactly. You need pistons and possibly a crank plus what ever you need for rebuild(bearings, new oil pump..) it's what you need to get yourself a built block. I can even sell you brand new cp pistons for wholesale cost if needed as well.
