There is no trimming needed to make the 07 taillights fit 02 and 03 the half moon on the bottom of the lights hangs out just past the lip of the bumper and once they are installed you can't tell that the bumper isn't shaped to match the lights

Back in the day I seen a thread on nasioc using the 04-07 tails with a stock 02-03 back bumper. It fit you just need to remove the insulator off the lower tail light
