my 93 impreza stalled as i was driving it saturday night and im not getting a spark i believe its my ignition coil that went out but im not sure
if you can confirm this id really appreciate it
and im looking to get one cus i cant wait for advanced to ship a new one to me so if you could help in any way lmk please.

when might you be able to look? cus i went to magic the junk yard and got a ignition coil but still no spark and i have gas but no matter how many times i try to start it there is no smell of gas

 

any advice?
cus the starter wires were good
i think its a wire grounding out somewhere but i cant find it.

as i said i bought the ignition coil from the junk yard(magic) and it still wont crank over
it doesnt even get a smell of gas when i try to start it when it normally has a small odor of gas when it starts up
i found a random ass ground wire connected to the frame but idk where it went before and its the first time ive seen it. really lost on what to do

 

okay, is it at all trying to crank over. Does it make a ticking sound? when you turn the key on what exactly happens. Sounds like a ground on the starter isnt on, or the power wire....

by the way, you posted this in the wrong thread, thats why no one is seeing this....

 

yea i think it could be a relay cus there wires to the starter are fine
